A ‘google alert’ brought me the following link that demonstrates Parks Canada response to managing potential human-bear conflicts along highways 1 and 1a within Banff National Park. I’ve been critical of Parks Canada’s response to the ongoing wildlife (re: grizzly mortality) issues; personally I like this interactive/educational concept and think Parks Canada should be congratulated for the effort. Maybe the issue of railway fatalities will get addressed in such a forward thinking manner…
