You know you’re in the midst of a great roadtrip when your travel mug takes on the flavour of at least 3 other beverages and you don’t care. Green tea with a whisper of hazelnut and hot chocolate may not grace the barista board at the local coffee shop anytime soon but it actually grew on me.

We’ve just returned from a road trip vacation that took us through Jasper’s Columbia Icefields, Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia, and Alaska’s Tongass National Forest. We’ll do our best to get a complete trip journal up as soon as possible. In addition we completed a couple of new hikes and tried out some new equipment that will have to make the blog at some point in the near future. Please stay tuned.

In the mean time I’ll leave you with this image taken from the Trophy Meadows in Wells Gray Provincial Park, British Columbia. The wildflower display was absolutely amazing – probably the best we’ve ever seen.
