Helen Lake – Banff National Park. This little slice of rocky mountain heaven is your reward for putting in about 1.5 to 2 hours effort – hiking 6k and gaining about 450m elevation. If you’ve still have some steam in your stride Cirque Peak is directly in front of you and 500m up! Definitely worth the effort; the view is something else.
