Part of the adventure of the Canadian Rockies is the unexpected. A benign hike to the Plain of the Six Glaciers Teahouse in Lake Louise quickly became a miserable slog as weather caught up with us at the Victoria Glacier viewpoint. Thankfully the teahouse was close and a couple of senchas and pastries soon put the fire back into our bellies for the hike down.
